Local media and projects
Selected source copies, editable projects, settings, notes, captions or masks you create and completed outputs are stored on your device. The app has no login, developer-operated backend, advertising, cross-app tracking or analytics SDK. We do not receive your media or projects through the app.
Processing
The included Whisper model, tokenizer and local WhisperKit library transcribe on-device with remote downloads disabled. Optional Apple recognition explicitly requires on-device recognition and is unavailable when local support is absent; it never falls back to remote recognition. Audio decoding, edits, subtitle creation and video rendering are local. No analytics SDK, developer processing server or media upload is included. The selected import provider or share destination may use cloud services.
Selection and permissions
System Photos and Files pickers provide only files you choose. Apple or a file provider may retrieve cloud-only selections during import. Imported copies can retain source metadata. Audio playback and imported recordings do not require microphone access; the app does not record microphone input. The optional Apple local speech recognizer requests Speech Recognition permission and requires on-device recognition support. The bundled Whisper option uses the installed model without a remote download or transcription request. The app does not request camera or location permission.
Exports and sharing
Finished files may contain visible images, audible speech, captions, filenames, notes or other content you selected. Some media tools offer a source metadata option; review that setting and the completed file. Files are not password protected by the app. Sharing occurs only when you choose a system destination, which handles copies under its own policy. We cannot recall shared copies.
Retention and backups
Local projects remain until you remove them or uninstall the app. Removing a project or import does not erase the original in Photos or Files, and associated source copies or historical exports may remain in app storage. Local cleanup controls remove only the files they identify. System device backups may include app data according to your settings. The app provides no developer-operated synchronization. Finished media, PDFs or ZIPs do not restore a complete editable project. Keep originals and final outputs outside the app before uninstalling.
Purchases and diagnostics
Apple handles paid downloads, refunds and platform diagnostics under its policies. We do not receive payment-card details. There are no subscriptions or in-app purchases.
Support correspondence
If you choose to email support, we receive your address and the information you send. Gmail handles correspondence. We use it to answer the request, retain it as needed to resolve the issue and meet applicable obligations, and do not use it for tracking or marketing. Avoid private media unless necessary. Contact the same address to request deletion.
This website
This website has no accounts, advertising or analytics scripts. Cloudflare may process IP addresses and technical connection information to deliver and protect it. Email links open your chosen email app.

We update the policy and App Store privacy details when app behavior changes. Last updated October 4, 2026.
