How do I start?
Tap Make a photo journal, enter a title, choose a story and import 6–24 photos with the system photo picker. Tap Create journal. Tap an editor photo to crop, caption or reorder it.
Can I try sample content?
Explore an illustrated sample opens original sample artwork to demonstrate the workflow.
How do I export?
Export journal offers Make JPEG pages and Make 10-second page film. Use Save to Photos or Share or save to Files. Films are 1080 × 1920 with no soundtrack.
Does it work offline?
Editing, local processing and export work offline after import. Cloud-only photos, email and online sharing may require internet.
Can I restore a project from an export?
No. Finished JPEG, MP4, ZIP and CSV exports are not editable backups. Keep originals and exports outside the app before uninstalling or changing devices.
What devices are supported?
iPhone and iPad running iOS or iPadOS 17 or later. The first release is not offered on Mac or Apple Vision Pro.
How do I manage files?
About & storage shows source and temporary export storage and provides Clear temporary exports.
Who handles refunds?
Apple determines refund eligibility. Visit Apple's Report a Problem website.
