What is included

TrueStencil turns an imported drawing or pattern image into a measured PDF. Set the width and height in millimeters, centimeters or inches. Choose A4 or Letter, portrait or landscape, then adjust margins and overlap. The page map shows the real joining order. Cut guides, alignment marks and row/column labels help assemble the printed sheets.

For small patterns, add several images with their own physical dimensions. TrueStencil places them on sheets with a 4 mm gap while preserving each entered size. An image that cannot fit is reported rather than quietly resized.

Save templates for recurring materials and printers. Export a 100 mm reference ruler, measure its printed length, and enter that measurement to compensate for the printer's scale. The effective DPI estimate includes this calibration and the export resolution.

All pattern processing happens on your device. Source images remain unchanged. A one-time paid download unlocks the app, with no subscription or in-app purchases.

Print using Actual size / 100% and disable Fit to page. A PDF's dimensions do not guarantee a printer's physical accuracy: measure the calibration ruler on the printer and paper you will use. Export uses up to 6,000 pixels on the longest image edge; the app reports the effective print resolution. TrueStencil works from raster images and does not convert a photograph into a CAD or vector pattern.

Processing and exports work locally after import. Cloud-only Photos or Files, support email and online sharing destinations may need internet.
