LineTone

Draw lines, hear locally synthesized notes, and turn an eight-beat musical canvas into a WAV loop or a short video.

Preparing for the App Store. Not yet available for download.

From a line to a little loop.

Draw the notes

Draw with your finger or Pencil. Higher lines make higher notes; left-to-right position becomes time in an eight-beat loop. Notes follow a pentatonic scale.

Choose a voice and pace

Use Glow, Bell or Pulse, choose a C, D, F or A key, and set a tempo from 48 to 180 BPM. The three voices are synthesized on your device.

Listen and revise

Hear notes while drawing, play or stop the loop, and undo the latest stroke. Canvases and their music settings stay editable on your device.

Share a finished creation

Export a mono 44.1 kHz WAV loop or a 720 × 960 MP4 with your drawing, a moving play line and synthesized sound. Preview and share the result with the system share sheet.

Included in the first version.

No login, advertising, subscription or cloud AI credits. Your editable work is saved locally.

Each canvas supports up to 200 strokes and each stroke up to 1,500 sampled points. Playback uses up to 512 distinct note events. Export length follows the eight-beat loop and the chosen tempo. WAV and MP4 exports do not restore an editable canvas. The first version has no audio recording, MIDI, external instrument support or cloud-generated music.
