Common questions

How do I start?

Tap New canvas, choose Glow, Bell or Pulse and draw. Higher lines produce higher notes, and left-to-right position sets the timing. Hear a sample creates a separate editable canvas to explore.

How do I play or change the loop?

Tap Play loop and Stop loop. Select a key or adjust Tempo to change the eight-beat loop. At 96 BPM a loop is five seconds long; changing tempo changes the duration.

Why can’t I hear anything?

Check device volume and your connected headphones or speaker. Add at least one stroke and tap Play loop. Playback stops when the app goes into the background or an audio interruption occurs. Return to the canvas and start it again.

How do I export?

Use Export creation, then Export WAV audio or Export video. Keep LineTone open while video export finishes. Preview the result and use Share your creation to choose where to save or send it.

Can I recover an editable canvas from a video or WAV?

No. The exports are finished media files, not canvas backups. The first version has no complete canvas-backup export or import.

Does it need a microphone or AI service?

No. Notes are synthesized locally from your strokes. There is no microphone recording, remote AI, login or cloud music service.

Is the app available yet?

We are preparing the first release. This website will link to the official App Store listing when it is available.

Does it work offline?

Creating, editing, local processing and export work offline. The system may need internet to retrieve a cloud-only photo, send email or share through an online destination. No app account is required.

What happens when I delete a project?

Deleting a canvas removes its editable record from the local archive, but does not automatically remove historical WAV or MP4 exports from the app’s storage. The first version has no storage-cleanup or complete canvas-backup import feature.

How do I protect my work before troubleshooting?

Keep important finished exports outside the app. Do not uninstall as a first troubleshooting step: editable records and any local source images may be lost. Device backups may include app data according to your Apple settings. This version does not provide a complete project-backup export or import.

What devices are supported?

iPhone and iPad running iOS or iPadOS 17 or later. The interface is in English.

Who handles App Store refunds?

Apple determines refund eligibility. Visit Apple’s Report a Problem website for purchase or refund questions.

How do I ask a privacy question?

Email tw92936969@gmail.com, or read the privacy policy. We cannot access your local records.
