Local app records
Trip names, destinations, dates, notes, templates, categories, quantities, check counts, exclusions, entered weights and weight-unit preferences remain in private local storage. No location permission, tracking or developer backend. There is no app account, developer backend, tracking, advertising or analytics SDK.
Exports and sharing
List PDFs and CSV contain destination, dates, items, check status and notes. Complete .trailload backups include trips and templates, not route maps or live location. Files are not password protected. PDF/CSV cannot restore the library. Files are sent only to destinations you choose, which handle them under their own policies. We cannot recall external copies.
Backups and restore
Restore validates a complete backup, saves a local before-restore recovery copy and replaces rather than merges the current library. Export a complete backup outside the app before uninstalling or changing devices. Apple device backups and Files providers follow your settings and their own policies. The app does not automatically synchronize your records.
Retention and deletion
Records remain until deleted or replaced. Deleting local records does not remove exports, before-restore copies or device backups. Uninstalling removes private local data and recovery copies. Manage external copies separately. Temporary exports may remain until removed by the system or app removal.
Voluntary support email
If you email support, we receive your email address and information you choose to send and use them to answer your request, not for marketing or tracking. Gmail handles this correspondence. Avoid sending private notes, files or complete backups unless necessary and you choose to share them. Correspondence is retained as needed to resolve requests and meet applicable obligations; contact the same address to request deletion.
Purchases and website
Apple handles the one-time App Store purchase and platform diagnostics under its own policies. There are no subscriptions or in-app purchases, and the app does not receive payment-card details. This website has no account, advertising or analytics scripts. Cloudflare may process technical request information, such as IP addresses, to deliver and protect the site.
