Common questions

How do I begin?

Choose Files or Photos, open an imported project, set A and B and press Play. Select a slower speed or turn on Increase speed after each loop.

Why can I not import a streaming song?

Protected streaming music and subscription-library DRM cannot be edited. Use a local, accessible audio or video file.

Does slowing change pitch?

The time-pitch processor changes tempo with pitch set to zero shift. Large speed changes can produce artifacts; compare with the original when tuning.

What is in a practice pack?

AAC and WAV copies of your A–B passage at each planned speed, a readable notes/markers file and project information, together in a ZIP. The JSON describes the draft; it is not a cloud-sync feature.

Will playback reset when I change notes?

Changing notes or markers keeps the current audio loop. Changing A–B, speed or the tempo plan restarts the passage with the new settings.

Does it separate instruments?

No. The current app practices the imported mono or stereo mix and does not advertise stem separation.

Does it work offline?

Processing and exports work locally after import. Cloud-only Photos or Files, support email and online sharing destinations may need internet.

How is it purchased?

A paid App Store download includes all tools. There is no subscription or in-app purchase.

Can an export restore the editable project?

No. Keep original media and final files outside the app before uninstalling or changing devices.

What systems are supported?

iPhone and iPad with iOS or iPadOS 17.0 or later. The first release is not offered on Mac or Apple Vision Pro.

Who handles refunds?

Apple determines eligibility. Visit Apple's Report a Problem website.
