Is it available yet?
We are preparing the first App Store release. There is no public download link yet.
Is there an account or subscription?
No. The planned release is a one-time paid download, without an app account, subscription, advertising, or in-app purchases.
Does it work offline?
Creating records, viewing imported attachments, exporting reports, and making backups work on your device. Importing cloud-only files, emailing support, or sharing with an online service may require internet access.
How do I make a restorable backup?
In Settings, choose Export complete backup and save the .keepfolio file outside the app. It includes records and attachments. PDF and CSV exports are reference documents and cannot restore your inventory. The backup is not encrypted or password protected by the app.
Why does the backup use .keepfolio?
The internal project began with the working name Keepfolio. The format and extension remain unchanged so existing test backups are compatible.
Does restore merge inventories?
No. Restore replaces your current inventory. A before-restore backup is created locally when the current inventory is not empty. Export that recovery copy outside the app too; uninstalling removes local recovery files.
When are warranty reminders delivered?
Enable notifications in Settings and turn on Remind me for each item. Choose 1, 7, 30, or 90 days before its recorded date. Only future reminder dates are scheduled, at 9 AM local time. The nearest 60 reminders are queued; reopen the app to refresh the queue or after changing time zones. iOS permissions and Focus settings affect delivery.
Are prices appraisals or converted automatically?
No. Prices are values you enter. Totals are kept separately for each currency, and changing currency never converts an amount. The app does not verify warranties, value belongings, provide insurance, or guarantee acceptance of a claim or report.
Are original photos and PDFs preserved?
Photos become resized JPEG copies up to 2,000 pixels, without source GPS metadata. Keep your originals separately. Unlocked PDF receipts up to 20 MB and 100 pages are retained as provided. Original PDF receipts are not embedded in exported reports; share them separately or use a complete backup.
How do I allow the camera?
Choose the camera when editing an item. If access was denied, open iOS or iPadOS Settings, find Sevenstead Inventory, and review camera permission. Device-management or parental restrictions may need separate review.
What devices are supported?
The first release supports iPhone and iPad running iOS or iPadOS 17 or later. It is not being offered on Mac or Apple Vision Pro.
Can household members share an inventory automatically?
No. There is no live synchronization, collaboration, or shared household account. A complete backup can be transferred manually, but restoring it replaces the destination inventory.
Who handles purchases and refunds?
Apple handles App Store purchases and determines refund eligibility. Visit Apple's Report a Problem website for purchase support.
